About Us
The Roller Derby Coalition of Tampa Bay (RDCTB) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the sport of roller derby and creating an inclusive, empowered community for skaters, fans, and volunteers alike.
Formed in 2024, the Coalition was created to support and expand local derby opportunities across the region. Our mission is to strengthen existing leagues, develop new ones, and provide a welcoming space for people of all genders, ages, and backgrounds to connect through sport.
Our flagship program, Sunshine City Roller Derby, is a volunteer-led, banked track league based in St. Petersburg—and one of the only banked track leagues in the Southeastern U.S. It’s a high-energy, community-driven experience that combines athleticism, creativity, and teamwork.
